Tess White is a Scottish Conservatives and Unionists MSP for North East Scotland and was elected to the Scottish Parliament in May 2021 and was the constituency candidate for Dundee West.
Tess has previously worked in the Oil & Gas industry and has served as a Board Director at Shell Renewables and HR Director at Centrica.
Tess is Shadow Minister for Public Health, Women's Health and Sport and this portfolio allows her to champion woman's health which is currently not a role in the Scottish Government.
She has raised issues such as increasing Bullying in SNHS, and highlighted the fact that there are now the lowest number of staffed hospital beds in Scotland, a number which has been declining over 10 years. Tess is also championing the safety of women on public transport having highlighted the fact that the number of sexual assaults on women on trains in Scotland is at a record high.
Tess is also a substitute member of the Social Justice & Social Security Committee.
