MSP for North East Scotland
Maurice Golden is a Scottish Conservative and Unionist MSP. First elected to the Scottish Parliament in May 2016, Maurice was re-elected in 2021 to serve the North East Scotland Region.
Maurice has a long history of service to the Conservative Party. In addition to having previously stood for election to Westminster in the 2008 Glenrothes by-election, Maurice also served as Chairman of East Renfrewshire Conservative & Unionist Association as well as the Deputy Chairman of the Scottish Conservative & Unionist Party.
Maurice previously worked for Zero Waste Scotland where he helped promote the circular economy; an issue he remains passionate about and advocates in his role as an MSP.
