Members in Angus were given notice by email and invited to come and meet Rishi Sunak on Thursday 23rd June 2022 in the Holiday Inn in Aberdeen.
Rishi flew to the granite city and met with North Sea Executives of the Oil & Gas Industry earlier in the morning for round table discussions on the windfall tax.
He then met members from Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire, Angus, and Stirling Associations who greeted him warmly to Scotland and proceeded to have a very relaxed informal opportunity to discuss any issues they had with The Chancellor, and there was plenty of time for photo opportunities.
Mr Andrew Bowie, Conservative MP for West Aberdeenshire & Kincardine and Mr David Duguid, Conservative MP for Banff & Buchan held an informal question and answer session with members too, where key issues such as the proposed splitting up of the UK, and worrying failures in Scottish Education, Police Scotland and the Scottish Justice system and SNHS were discussed.
